Loonwise is proudly a Canadian firm: an AI-native consultancy that brings consultants and engineers together in one team, so that the people who shape a strategy are the people who build and run what it requires.

Who we are

The strategy was rarely the problem.

Loonwise was founded in Canada on a single observation. The strategy was usually right, and the technology was usually available. The program still failed—in the hand-off between the people who decided and the people who built.

We built a consultancy in which those are the same people. Our consultants have shipped software. Our engineers take part in discovery. The person who scoped the work is present when it goes live, and the person who built it supports it afterward. Our engineers are forward-deployed: they work inside the client’s environment, alongside the client’s people, until the client owns what was built.

When AI changed how software is built, we pivoted with it, because excellence meant changing how the work is done. Coding agents, evaluation frameworks, and automated quality assurance are part of every Loonwise workflow, and people remain accountable for everything that ships. The discipline around the AI is what we offer, and it is what turns AI adoption into a lasting edge for our clients.

  • Senior by default

    Every team is led by an engineer with a decade or more of delivery behind them. We do not staff junior consultants on a client’s budget and call it a team.

  • Clear scope, honest estimates

    Discovery ends with a scope, a cost, and a first sprint—or a recommendation not to proceed. Trade-offs are documented before they are made.

  • Evaluation before automation

    No AI system goes to production without a framework of real cases it must pass. “We tested it” has to mean something when a regulator asks.

  • Canadian by design

    Bilingual teams, residency decisions made explicitly, and privacy law—PIPEDA, Quebec’s Law 25, and sector regimes—treated as requirements rather than paperwork.
